Hi, my name is Michael Dunphy and along with my wife Mary, we own and operate Avonlee Photography. We are located just north of Kensington in Montgomery County, Maryland.

First of all, we love babies! Each baby is unique, beautiful and a challenge. The photographs below are of my two kids and I during a quick portrait session. As you can see from these images, kids move, squirm and look away at the wrong times. But that is the fun of working with babies – I never know what I am going to get during a session.

We want you to have fun during each photo session as we capture meaningful life memories during your baby’s first year. To do that we give ourselves lots of time at each of your baby’s 4 photo sessions. Only photographing 2 babies per day ensures that no one is ever rushed.
